01. About me

I'm a Tech Lead and Senior .NET Backend Developer with 11 years of professional experience, specialising in cloud-native microservices architecture on Microsoft Azure.

For the last five years I've been a trusted long-term partner to Studentsamskipnaden i Oslo (SiO), one of Norway's largest student welfare organisations — leading backend teams through large-scale infrastructure migrations, SaaS platform builds, and service layer modernisation programmes.

My technical depth sits at the intersection of .NET backend development and Azure cloud engineering — AKS, Service Bus, APIM, PostgreSQL, Terraform, and Azure Entra External ID. I'm equally comfortable writing production code and making architecture decisions.

I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science and am currently expanding my expertise in AI and Azure.

Brand-new multi-tenant SaaS platform for student organisation management. Architected from the ground up with clean tenant separation, OAuth 2.0 via Azure Entra External ID, and full Azure cloud infrastructure.

Full-stack modernisation: Blazor frontend migration. Led analysis, migration strategy and task breakdown. Comprehensive backend API redesign with caching strategy and validation layer.

Full Azure infrastructure overhaul to hub-and-spoke design. Migrated 38 AKS-hosted services and 16 databases across 3 environments. Rebuilt in Terraform with automated CI/CD. Delivered via single-day cutover with zero major issues.

SiO: BRIS Phase Out — Consent Management

Extracted user consent domain from monolith into a dedicated microservice. Designed multi-layered resilience: Azure Table Storage fallback, Hangfire retry with exponential backoff, Service Bus dead-lettering, and Slack alerting.

Led delivery across 4 teams. New student housing platform on Dynamics 365 + .NET with complex integrations: Agresso, Udibank, Miele, parking systems. Designed and finalised the go-live plan that became a model for future rollouts.
